The outer ring of self-aligning ball bearings' raceway consist of two balls units composed by spheres, inner ring, balls and cage. The curvature center and bearing center line are the same. So the inner ring, ball and the cage can rotate around the bearing center.

Self-aligning ball bearings can be made into both opened and sealed. Self-aligning ball bearings have two structures: cylindrical bore and taper bore. Cages are made of steel plate, synthetic resin and so on. The characteristic is that the outer rings raceway is spherical surface which contribute to aligning function.

It can compensate the error of self-aligning and insensitive to self-aligning ball bearings. But the inner and outer ring's relative inclination should be lower than 3 degree.

Shape Design

Without Suffix--A one-piece or two-piece pressed steel cage, bearings without any seals.

2RS--Self-aligning ball bearings have sealed version with contact seals at both sides, made by sheet steel and wear-resistant acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR).

K--Inner ring taper bore, taper degree is 1:12.

Cage Design

Without Suffix--A one-piece or two-piece pressed steel cage.

P--A one-piece or two-piece injection moulded snap-type cage of glass fibre reinforced polyamide.

M--A one-piece or two-piece alloy brass cage.

Inner Design

CN--Normal radial clearance, without suffix.

C3--Abrov-normal radial internal clearance.

K--Inner ring is tapered-type, taper degree is 1:12.

Thrust Roller BearingsThrust Roller Bearings are used for axles of axial load and radial joint load, but the radial load shall not exceed 55% of axial load.
