Single direction thrust ball bearings use design that can take trust loads in high speed running. Single direction thrust ball bearings consist of one shaft washer, one housing washer and a ball and cage. Since the rings are housing washer shape, it can take heavy axial loads but no radial loads. According to the stress condition, it can be divided into single direction thrust ball bearings and double direction thrust ball bearings. The single direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads and locate a shaft axially, in one direction only.
